This year, we are taking a different approach to our 'middle leadership' roles across the school. We no longer have a traditional structure that would include subject leaders or coordinators as that way of working seemed to be holding back our progress. Instead, we have moved towards a more 'agile' system of leadership where team leaders develop teams and work quickly and flexibly to create impact (by making a change or implementing a new way of working) over the course of a half term.
The focuses for each team are decided on by the needs of the school and anyone can suggest a focus they would like to work on. The rest of the staff can decide which team they would like to join. Some people join more than one!
