Inclusion - including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Welcome
We know that children learn in different ways. Our approach to SEND starts with getting to know your child – their strengths, interests, needs and aspirations – and then adapting teaching and support so they can participate, achieve and feel successful.
If you are considering Ainslie Wood and your child has SEND, we'd be very happy to talk to you and arrange a visit.
Our Vision
At Ainslie Wood Primary School, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Our aim is:
To be a school where every child – regardless of their starting point, background or need – belongs, thrives and is empowered to achieve their personal best.
We believe that every child deserves high-quality teaching, positive relationships and the opportunity to succeed. We work closely with families and outside professionals to ensure that children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to flourish both academically and personally.
