In order to help to develop future leaders, we need to give our pupils real leadership opportunities which have real processes and real outcomes. We know that, as well as having positive effects on the individuals, their leadership will also have a positive impact on our school. We aim to develop pupils’ leadership skills in order to have their voice heard, take ownership and responsibility and work to continually make improvements to our school. We currently have six pupil leadership teams but are always open to developing more roles. 

Each leadership team is made up of someone from each year group from Years 3-6.  The current year 4-6 leaders conduct their own interviews with year 3 children who wish to join their team and then carefully select two new leads to join their team. We hope to see some real change created by these focusses as well as watching our leaders develop and use their leadership skills.
