Great Learning 2019-20
We have been learning about addition and subtraction and the different symbols to help us write number sentences. We have been using a range of resources to help us with our maths such as our fingers, cubes and number lines.
As we have been reading a variety of Julia Donaldson books, we decided to explore rhyming. We used technology to play a game where we had to read a word and then select a the picture that rhymed with it. We were very good at this game and really helped us understand rhyming.
We have been learning about patterns in Maths and how we can make patterns using lots of different things. We used numbers, shapes and letters to create our patterns. We even looked at how we can make patterns using people - adult, child, adult, child.
