Little Squirrels - Baby & Toddler Group

It will be a safe space for families to bring along their toddlers for a chance to play and interact with each other and meet new parents/carers. Our aim is to provide different opportunities at these sessions from playing to singing.

There will be ‘drop ins’ which cost £1.50 per session which will include a hot drink.

Christmas Fair 2023

Friday 8th December 2023 will see the return of the Christmas Fair from 3.45pm-6pm.  The event will include a BBQ, Hot Chocolate stand, arts and craft activities, an outside Santa’s Grotto, stalls, a raffle and lots more fun activities for children and adults to enjoy.

Entrance fee - 50p for adults, children FREE.

Santa Grotto tickets - £3.50 per child.

Ainslie Wood Harvest Collection

On Friday 6th October, we held our first Harvest Collection to help those in need in our local community. As well as supporting the stocking of the Ainslie Wood Food Bank, we are working alongside “The Hub”, which supports the Chingford and Highams Park community from its base at All Saints Church.

Friday 29th September - Macmillan Coffee Morning

We are delighted to let you know that we raised a fantastic £278.96 from the coffee morning.

An amazing Summer Fair, thank you to all that came along to join us.

Friday 16th June - AWP Quiz Night

What a night to remember, we had a great night of questions and answers. 

Friday 5th May - King's Tea Party Picnic

We had lots of games and activities during the day for the children to enjoy. The children dressed in Commonwealth inspired outfits for the day.

Monday 24th April - Eid Celebration Breakfast

Our first Eid Celebration breakfast, which was a huge success!

Friday 17th March - Red Nose Day - Wear it RED!

Children were able to come to school wearing RED. What a great day we had.

Thursday 19th February - A Coming Together & Fundraiser

We were able to create a shared space for us to come together and connect as a community.  An OXFAM collection box for donations towards efforts in Turkey and Syria. 

Friday 2nd December - Christmas Fair 2022

Our first Christmas Fair since 2019 and it was a huge success. 

Friday 18th November - Children in Need - Get your spots on!

Children and adults come to school in uniform but with accessories that are SPOTTY!

Donations are made to Children in Need.

Wednesday 19th October - Community Fair

For all to come along and meet staff, pupils and get a snap-shot of life and learning at Ainslie Wood.
