  • Year 6 Production: Go For Goal!

    Year 6 performed 4 performances of their production 'Go For Goal'.

     

    The main character Oscar wants to become a footballer and goes back in time to learn about the history of the sport. He meets a variety of different characters along his journey with the help of his sister, dad and granddad. The production also included a range of songs.

     

    Year 6 were fantastic and deserve an Oscar for their performance. Well done!

  • Sports Day

    On Wednesday 9th July, Ainslie Wood got their kits on for a fun filled day of sport.

     

    Years 4, 5 and 6 participated in a competitive sports morning taking part in activities such as long jump and hurdles. Years 1, 2 and 3 took part in a non competitive sports afternoon which included games such as chicken run and the sack race.

     

    It was an action packed day and everyone had a lot of fun!

     

     

  • Year 6 Celebrate in Style

    On Friday 4th July, Year 6 celebrated in style with a grand American themed Independence Day Prom. The children organised the whole event themselves (with a little adult help behind the scenes) from the décor down to the food.

     

    Elsaid and Jodylee were pronounced Prom King and Queen, which was a wonderful surprise for everyone involved.

     

  • Fun at the Fair

    On Saturday 5th July we held our annual summer fair. The weather did not stop us from having a fun filled day complete with games, a bouncy castle and delicious burgers. Children had the opportunity to take part in a street dance workshop and showcase their best moves. The penalty shoot out proved popular not just with children but parents too. A fun day was had by all!
  • Beyond Class Assembly

    Year 6 gave us an emotional start to the day with an assembly full of memories from their time at Ainslie Wood. From funny moments to happy moments, there were many memories shared. They ended with their own cover version of 'I've had the time of my life'. Well done Beyond Class!
