Year 6 performed 4 performances of their production 'Go For Goal'.
The main character Oscar wants to become a footballer and goes back in time to learn about the history of the sport. He meets a variety of different characters along his journey with the help of his sister, dad and granddad. The production also included a range of songs.
Year 6 were fantastic and deserve an Oscar for their performance. Well done!
On Wednesday 9th July, Ainslie Wood got their kits on for a fun filled day of sport.
Years 4, 5 and 6 participated in a competitive sports morning taking part in activities such as long jump and hurdles. Years 1, 2 and 3 took part in a non competitive sports afternoon which included games such as chicken run and the sack race.
It was an action packed day and everyone had a lot of fun!
On Friday 4th July, Year 6 celebrated in style with a grand American themed Independence Day Prom. The children organised the whole event themselves (with a little adult help behind the scenes) from the décor down to the food.
Elsaid and Jodylee were pronounced Prom King and Queen, which was a wonderful surprise for everyone involved.
Year 6 gave us an emotional start to the day with an assembly full of memories from their time at Ainslie Wood. From funny moments to happy moments, there were many memories shared. They ended with their own cover version of 'I've had the time of my life'. Well done Beyond Class!
